Some Mornings Are Just Worse Then Others

An exceptionally bad hair day. Mom has no idea what happened here. She thinks I must be doing some breakdancing in my sleep to attain such hair artistry. It was her bright idea to "fix" it with a headband. Did I mention it was HER idea? Not mine.

Gutted

In light of the upcoming holiday, we wanted to share the following horrific photo.

Warning: washing machines may turn on you. And I'm not talking about the missing sock thing. They often have an evil streak that is masked by their shiny exterior. Don't be fooled, they may gut your stuffed animals. And worse, yet, they may gut them with the head of an innocent bystander.

Behold the precious moments/ostrich hybrid.

Overheard

Walking through a clothing store- little boy points to a pair of very expensive distressed jeans and in a very I'm-telling-on-you voice exclaims, "Oh no! Look dad, these jeans have grass stains on them already!"

Ah, the innocence and purity of children. Just wait. In time that same little boy is going to be ogling a nice $200 pair of "grass stained" jeans.

A Cow Lick and a Cowlick

Daddy, Mommy & Theo Bill took me to the Michigan State Fair yesterday and it was SO much fun. We had no idea just how much there would be to see and do and can't wait to go again next year.

Young Love

I swear to you this kid does not always look bored/ticked off. It's just the camera. She goes into this mode as soon as she sees it....

Or, maybe it's Luke and that's actually fear in her eyes.

And you can leave your comments about her outfit at the door. I've already heard them all.

Safari

Last week we rode our bikes to the zoo for an evening concert and picnic. Dad said I looked like I was dressed for a safari. I can't help it that I'm fierce.
