Time Flies!

I seems like just yesterday that we were meeting up with the girls for our first "playdate" when mom was on maternity leave and here we are almost ONE! Today we celebrated a pre-birthday party with our play group gals because Tallulah and her parents will be in Oregon when we have the official play group party. We will sure miss them!

Somehow we managed to all be civil and obedient long enough for our moms to take a few snapshots. Unfortunately Liliana didn't arrive until just after we took the photos and Ailey wasn't able to make it so we're two short but still six strong!

Opa!!!

Last weekend we went to Saginaw to visit with my God sister's Yia Yia and Papou and to go to the Greek Festival! It was so much fun and as a special treat we got to take a quick dip in the pool together. I haven't learned splash etiquette yet so I'm not sure I'll be invited back anytime soon. I had fun watching the Greek dancers and had my first pastitio (greek version of lasagna) which I loved! Here are a few pictures of Ailey and me. As you can see she's not fond of my splash love.

Father's Day & 11 Months Old!

Today we celebrated daddy's first father's day and my 11 month birthday! We started the day off with blueberry pancakes and bacon, gift opening (outdoor propane heater) followed by a trip to the Eye's on Design car show and lunch. Then me and mommy took a nap while daddy went to the driving range. Finally we had Keith, Hollie and Kolly/Heith (baby to be) over for a cook out and key lime pie and brownies. What a day!!

My First Pool Party

Luke invited me over to go swimming in his new psychedelic mushroom pool. I haven't quite mastered the somersault or handstand yet (the pool's a bit shallow) but I'm working on my backstroke.

On Sunday I took my first trip to another country-Canada!. We got to see airplanes go real fast in the Red Bull Air Race. Mostly I just gazed at people's ankles since I'm so short but daddy gave me a good view from his arms. Luke's cousins Jack and Josie went too and so did their parents Darcie & Jason and Luke's mom Trish and his TT Alyssa & Tim. We had so much fun (minus the long wait on the bridge and the extreme general disorganization of Canada).
