Almost Tree!

Sophia is going to be three (or as she says, tree) in just a few short weeks! We celebrated the girls in play group birthday already since Tallulah is moving to Oregon at the end of the week (BOOOOO!!!) They had so much fun playing with squirt guns, opening presents and eating princess cupcakes.
In birth order: Tallulah, Ailey, Sophia, Addi, Luci and Lilliana
And some of our newest members...in birth order: Kristiana (Ailey's sister), Emme (Luci's sister), Matilda (Tallulah's sister), Evi (duh) and Annalise (Lilliana's sister)- unfortunately Connor was napping when I took these so I don't have a photo of him but he would fall between Matilda and Evi. The lone man of the group : )

Bad Outfit Day

enough said...well, technically I should clarify that this was compliments of mommy attending a baby shower and daddy being in charge of dressing the kids:

Our Little Dare Devil

Anyone who has spent any significant time with Sophia knows she is quite timid...or so we thought. She's always been the one to shy away from anything adventurous and carefully warn other kids that what they are doing might be dangerous. So imagine our surprise when we went to a local carnival and she wanted to ride EVERY ride! We attended the very same carnival last year and she was even leary about the merry go round. This year she rode the merry go round, swings, huge slide, rollercoaster, ferris wheel and train. Who knew? We might just have a litle dare devil after all.

Behind

Just a tad bit behind on the posts... : ( We recently ventured south for some family time and to introduce little Evangelia to our extended family. It was a fantastic, yet way too short, trip. I wish we could have stayed for another week or two! Here are some photos documenting our adventures:

Updates

I realized I haven't updated everyone on Evi and her stomach/formula/reflux issues that I wrote about a few weeks after she was born. Let's just say this kiddo might just earn a reserved parking spot at the pediatrician sometime soon : ( That being said, she's doing SO much better. Up until a couple of weeks ago we were at the peds. at least once a week if not more with one thing or another (blood in the stool, reflux, blocked tear duct, thrush-which was SO not fun, and most recently Laryngomalasia) . Despite all of this, Evi is such a happy little girl! She's such a trooper and I love her more then I can express. She coos and smiles like nobody's business. She's even shared her first laugh with us and recently found her hands which both amuse and frustrate her. She is such a joy and we are very blessed to call her our daughter!
