15 Months

Our little Len Lens is 15 months! And though she is a peanut she has a lot of personality. Here are a few things I wanted to remember about this time in our littlest one's life...

1.) She loves to say Uh Oh and thinks she's cute when she does....which she is.
2.) She knows what she wants and she wants any and everything she shouldn't have (mostly of the food variety).
3.) She has a piercing shriek that she has perfected that could break glass.
4.) She uses said shriek when she sees a dog or anything resembling a dog. Just don't make her touch them. She LOVES them...far away.
5.) She says lots of words but most of them sound like dog dog.
6.) She is a cuddle bug. Any given time of the day she will give you kisses, hugs and cuddles. It's magical.
7.) She also shrieks for balls. Even ones that are concreted to the ground...like those gigantic red ones in front of most Targets. It's only minorly embarrassing.
8.) She is obsessed. No really obsessed with her blankie and pepila. She carries them around everywhere and if she can't find one she will climb up the stairs to get them from her bed all on her own.
9.) She's FINALLY walking and almost running now.
10.) She has 12 teeth and appears to be working on a couple more.
11.) She sleeps awesome!
12.) She eats awesome! Tabbouli anyone?
13.) She's a tiny 8th % for height. Clearly she takes after mommy.
14.) Her stranger anxiety is getting a bit better but she still prefers people she knows well.
15.) I often think her name should have been Joy because she embodies the word. She brings such Joy to our life every single day.

Stats:
Weight: 20 lbs. 5 oz
Height: 29"

Baby's First Salon Visit

She made it to the last five minutes before having a fit. Momma was proud.

Happy 40th Trish!

In mid-December we celebrated Trish's 40th birthday. We cooked, we decorated, we planned and prepared....and then it snowed. and snowed. and snowed. Did I mention it snowed? Like A LOT. And though our numbers were down, we still had a rip roaring good time!!!! Happy Birthday Trish!

Christmas Card

Our three little lovelies. We graciously gave up on the idea of getting a picture with them all together. Therefore it was actually an enjoyable experience rather then the screaming, bribing, embarassing scene that it typically is :-)

Evi-isms

Time for an Evi-ism update. Have to jot these down so I can torture her with them in coming years :-)

-Your understanding of time is limited. Naturally,  as is your age. Your favorite unit of time is: A couple of whiles.
"Mommy, are we going to stay home for a couple of whiles today?"

-Downstores. This continues to be they way you say downstairs. Not sure what dialect it is other then not ours.

-Snanks. As in "Snanks for my snack". This pattern also holds true for "stree" (3).

I often forget she is still only three since she's the size of some 5 year olds! She's as equally entertaining as she is exhausting though for the record she is definitely my cleanest child. Always the first one to put her clothes in the laundry bin and rarely needs to be asked . She has also finally decided to let us cuddle with her. I LOOOOVEEE it!

It's The Holiday Season...

Santa came to church! Evi asked for a blue kitty purse and Soph asked for a boy beach barbie. Eleni asked for Santa not to come near her. EVER.

We had a little daily hat parade to display how ridiculously many hats Eleni has. And this is only a small fraction!

Off to get the yearly Christmas tree. One of my all time favorites this year!
