I don't think there is a spot in Sophia's baby book for this one. 1st word, 1st haircut, 1st steps...yes....1st act of criminal theft...nope. I had an ugly feeling this was going to happen sooner or later based on her klepto ways but alas, the day has come. She nabbed two of these little fellows unbeknownst to myself or "GG" while shopping yesterday. The guilt she feels is such that she's currently laying on the floor stuffing her sock into a plastic cup. Misery, I tell you.

Playgroup Girls Holiday Party
Also known as, the launch of "Dec. 08 Cold" : ) We shared some good laughs, great food and as always, lots of snot.
As you can see, half of the guest list got the red-dress-attire invitation and the rest of us just got the come-as-you-are invite.

Santa Take 2
Santa has lost quite a bit of weight since my first visit with him. He also appears to be getting younger. Very strange.
Here are a few pictures of Luke and me freezing our kadoinkers off at the Ferndale Ice Festival.

Fletcher and Gang
Last weekend my newest boy friend (not boyfriend, by the way-don't freak dad) came to visit with his parents Jackie & Josh. It was so fun to visit with them and have them stay with us. I liked Fletcher a whole lot. I'm excited for him to be able to play with me once he figures out that whole supporting of the head thing. Isn't he cute?

Friends, Santa & Jello!
Ailey and me got to go see Santa last week! It was SO fun! Mom, dad, Auntie Paula and Uncle Blake took us to the DAC to see Santa and have a wonderful dinner. Turns out that Santa does not bite. In fact he gave A and me stuffed reindeers for being so brave. Then at dinner, we got pizza, carrot sticks and jello. It was like the best night of my life.

I Blame Betty Crocker
I have never enjoyed a cookbook so much in my life. Naturally my enjoyment had nothing to do with cooking. This is a page I scanned in from the famed "Old School" (and yes that is the official name of course : ) Betty Crocker cookbook that came from my Grandma. You'll have to click on it to really read it. Trust me, it's worth it.
My personal favorite is the one on the left side, 3 down. Just remember, if you feel tired lay down on the floor for a bit. No need to take off your apron or heels.
Coming in at a close second would be the one right above it. I blame most women's life problems on this one. Who knew Betty was the one to start it all. "You're mind can accomplish things while your hands are busy". In other words, multi-task. And I wonder why I end up at the checkout of the grocery store with nothing from my list in the basket because my cell phone is glued to my ear or perhaps my mind has started planning "family recreation, the garden, etc. ".
And don't forget ladies... "Notice humorous and interesting incidents to relate at dinnertime". I've got that one down. Often I report the texture and or frequency of our daughters poo. That's interesting right? Or is that not what she had in mind? Hmmm.....
