Yassas!

We have emerged from the depths of vacation fog and are finally (almost) unpacked and on our way (kinda) back to normal, whatever that is. I don't even know where to start with sharing our adventures in Greece so I'm going to do several posts and only pick some of the over 1,000(!!!) photos we took.
Overall, the trip was wonderful! I wouldn't recommend flying and driving as much as we did to anyone with small children, however, they really did well considering what we asked of them. In all we were on a plane/in an airport for a total of 36 hours, in a car for an additional 21 hours, and stayed in 6 hotels. Needless to say...we're all tired. VERY tired. But it was worth every bit of it!
The flight over was rough as our first flight was a bit late, our seats on our second flight were sold to someone else (I don't love Delta right now), we had to fight our way back on it but were given 4 separate seats, lost our luggage, had to prove Evi was our kid and that we didn't steal her between the Atlanta and Athens flight, found our luggage on a random carousel in the corner of the Thessaloniki airport.....etc. Despite the bumps along the way, we got there safe and sound with luggage and a touch of sanity intact.
