Dear Sophia,

 

You are turning into such a little lady. I give it a couple years and I think we'll be eye to eye.....well, at least in one way ;-) You are a complete free spirt and quirky. I love that about you. You love life and everything that comes your way. You love to read now and we often need to tell you to go to bed at night because you won't stop. You are still timid when it comes to physical things and are always looking out for anyone around you that may be doing something that will get them hurt. You are definitely a rule follower yet not a crowd follower...a wonderful combination. You love to draw and craft and would rather do that then most anything else. You will eat most anything, or at least try it. With the exception of mushrooms or tomatoes...no way, no how. You are becoming a great swimmer and you love, love, love the water. I hope that you keep it up!

 

Up North...version 2015

As is always the case, we had a BLAST spending the week in Traverse City. The kids had so much fun and we were able to sneak in a visit with Ashley, Harvey, Henry & Ruby too. We took the kids to Sleeping Bear Dunes for the first time and they managed to make it pretty far up. It was a very hot day so we were all huffing and puffing the whole way up.

Fourth of July

This year, as a rare change, we were home for the 4th. Yia Yia, Theo Bill, Thea Eleni, Dorian & Demi all came to visit and we had so much fun. We chartered a boat to spend the day on Lake Orion, we had an outdoor movie, birthday celebrations for Sophia, swimming and of course some fireworks.

 

 

  

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Pick'in

Picking your own makes everything taste better :-) Strawberries with GG & G, Cherries, Raspberries & Peapods with Yia Yia, Bill, Thea Eleni, Dorian and Demi and then Apples & tomatoes again with GG. We love living close to all of the farms. The kids (and us) have so much fun picking our own!

 

 

 

 

  

 

Fish

What an AMAZING summer at the new pool. We enjoyed every single second of it. We went every chance we could. Swim lessons, tennis lessons, friends and more fun then we ever imagined. We can't wait until next year to jump in again!
