Playgroup Easter Party

Thursday evening all my friends came over for a Easter celebration. We hunted for eggs, made bunny ears and ate yummy treats. It was a blast. And as if all of that wasn't good enough, all of our daddies were able to join us! I can't believe we're all going to be turning 2 in a few short months. Where has the time gone?!?!

Scrambled or Over Easy?

And to think Mom doubted my egg hunting skills. She figured I wouldn't know what to do since we hadn't practiced hunting for eggs and putting them in stuffed bunny baskets (don't know what that's all about) but I put her fears to rest. There were millions of eggs and candy and yet the whole thing was over in a matter of minutes...or maybe even minute. I could have cared less that mom was there or not, I ran out and started stuffing my basket. And I have no shame, I was willing to steal from other kids baskets too. I can't wait to go on my next egg hunt. My skills should be fully developed by then!

Here are a few pictures of me and my friends Ailey & Ashlyn...

Two Bumps Don't Make A Right

You would think we ran head first into each other seeing as our bumps are nearly identical, but no, we managed to bump at the same time all on our own. Just met up for a bump debriefing and documented the evidence.

Clarification

Everyone knows that toddlers have their own unique pronunciation of words. Most of which sound like gibberish to outsiders but make perfect sense to their parents. However, there a few that baffle even those of us seasoned in toddlerglish. Alas, we have finally after months figured out one of them.

Butt Cheese

I swear to you that is exactly what it sounds like and she says it all the time. Usually when at the table or in the kitchen. I had that as a hint but it remained a big question mark. So here you have it people.

Butt Cheese = Bite

No joke. Bite. Soph is infamous for adding letters on to the end of words like "book" is "booka" and "dad" is "dadin". I think she's actually saying "bitey" which is why it sounds like butt cheese.

I can't tell you how relieved I am.

And as a side note. She's finally started asking for her woobie by name. Only thing is that she pronounces it "woodie" and in all my matureness I can't help but giggle each and every time.

Waiting for the garbage truck this morning. The nice man honks his horn for us!
As you can see, Luke is trying to escape while I look concerned. I made him pinky swear not to involve me in his shennanigans. (thankgoodness for screen door locks!)
