Today Sophia had her 40 day blessing where she was welcomed into the Greek Orthodox Church. She behaved beautifully. No tears (unless you count right before and right after) at all! This was a very special day for our family and we wanted to share some photos.
The bottom photo is of our friend Paula and her daughter Ailey. Ailey was born 5 days before Sophia. I was lucky to meet Paula in my Aqua Mom's swim class (and later, her husband Blake in child birth class). Turns out we attend the same church (among other bizarre similarities). Neither of us knew we were having girls and I'm thrilled that we can now share the joys of having a daughter.
Tomorrow is Sophia's 1 month appointment with the pediatrician. Her reflux is still pretty bad and we're not sure the medication is working : ( Hopefully she'll have some answers because we're having a tough time seeing our little girl hurt.
